Campy Campy!

**Warning**
**Extremely long post ahead**

We went CAMPING! Yes!! Camping!!!

We had the most wonderful time (of the year?) at Mount Rainier National Park at the Ohanapecosh campground. It's a DANG good thing we have such awesome friends with such a love for the outdoors (some say a little toooo much love... but not me, I say just enough!)... and all the camping gear anyone can hope for! (heheheh)

First some sleeping bags had to be acquired. Since we didn't even have that to begin with!

Fighting off the Sleeping Bag of DOOOOOOM!
Hillary now has a bionic arm, which strangly, is weaker than her old arm...

Car ride:

We had to take two cars, because there was just TOO MUCH GEAR!
(or just enough?)
So this is them:

When I saw all this snow (keep in mind this is mid June, peak of summer)
I thought "What the hell did I get myself intoooo??!?!"
But we kept going so I stopped freaking out.

Camp site!

Our lots were RIGHT NEXT TO THE WATER:

The always indispensable hammock:

The somewhat important TENT:
(notice how there are 3 people putting it together, not 4... where is #4??)

Even though the place seemed to be packed, it felt very private!

Moss is a super cool camping dog!

While Brock took his nap we went on a short hike:

"Hot Springs"
(eeeewwww)

Back home!

This guy's line got caught in the rocks and I thought for sure he was gonna loose his footing!

Good ole run o'the mill goofin'round

Ninners!

Holy meat of deliciousness!

Yummy jicama cole slaw

chompchompchomp... corn!

Dessert!
This beautiful thing is a strawberry cake/cobbler baked in a dutch oven.
I'm sure it has a better name than that, and you just DON'T KNOW how good it was!

Brock woke up super early and went to the river to read on his own:

...mmooorninn...

Camp French Toast!

Mmmmm.... Baaaacooooon....

This is what I look like before my coffee
(haha just kidding, I never have coffee!)

2nd day hike!

Doesn't this look like an baboon??

Silver Falls:

Hey, quit Captain Morganing!

Drive back, Mount Rainier in the background:

And we aaaaall lived haaapily eeever aaafter!

Thank you sweet sweet friends for an awesome weekend!
