So I finally got off my lazy bum, and sat on my hard working bum and played with beads again!!
Aunt Carol made me an ornament a while ago with pretty yellow beads which I hung from my purse. It was very much loved, but since it went everywhere with me, it started to fall apart. I took the pretty yellow beads and made another ornament, inspired by yet another one of Aunt Carol's creations.
Then came the red one, with the fish bones at the end, and one that I gave to Janice on her birthday. And last night, after a year of barely beading at all, I made the purple spiral bracelet in the middle! Yay!! I'm working on another bracelet now, it's kind of an experiment. If it sucks, you'll never hear of it again.

It started out with a blue background, does that count? Well I guess it will go back to blue at some point. But not anytime soon! I'm very happy with it now as it is. And it was hard work!

Ok, seven o'clock and I go to the kitchen (where my place is) to cook some dinner, and out the window I see everything has turned ORANGE. I looked at the thermometer and it was still 100!! So, wtf, right? We went outside armed with a camera and a Dexter, and this is what we captured. I swear I didn't alter the colors at all. Everything looked fake like it came from a movie set. All the colors were super saturated. The sky was super blue, and the trees were super green. It was awesome. And hot.
